This apple corer is made of Moboo®, which is produced with bamboo sawdust, rice starch and an all-natural, plant-based binder.

Fantastic little tool

We absolutely love this little corer. It's not just for apples. We've used it to core medium and large strawberries to make cheesecake stuffed strawberries. We've used to to remove cupcake centers to fill with cream. We've used it on medium and large cherries too. It's quite easy to remove the cores from the tool too with no worries about ncks or cuts. It's just sharp enough to remove apple cores but not so sharp the end will ever harm you. It's safe enough we let our youngest child use it on strawberries. It's well balanced and not too heavy on either end. It's also very well made. I expect with proper care this will be a lifetime tool in our home. If anyone is interested our cheesecake strawberry recipe is
1 lb strawberries cored
1 brick cream cheese softened (vegan variety works too!)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2-4 tablespoon milk of choice, we use oat milk or coconut milk.
Mix all ingredients besides strawberries. Add only as much milk as needed to make the cream cheese pipeable. Use a frosting piping bag or even a ziplock with the corner cut off to fill the cored strawberry. Keep refrigerated covered up to 3 days. These can also be dipped in chocolate for extra yummy treats.
